Wordmixer started as a quick tool for picking random words during improv and drawing games. It grew a Russian list and a few options, and now it lives here.

How it works

Everything runs in your browser. Words are picked with crypto.getRandomValues, so results are not predictable. Your recent results are kept only in your own browser and never leave it.

Ideas for use

• Brainstorming: take three words and build a product idea around them.
• Party games: one player explains the word, others guess.
• Writing prompts: start a short story that uses every word.
• Passphrases: five or more random words make a strong, memorable password.

Word lists

Both lists contain common, family-friendly nouns, adjectives and verbs. Suggestions are welcome.
